The Parliamentary Body of the National Front Party in the House of Representatives, chaired by MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, held its first meeting today to discuss parliamentary work priorities for the coming period, develop a comprehensive vision to strengthen legislative and oversight performance, and unify the efforts of the party’s MPs under the dome of Parliament.
MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein stressed that the coming period would witness a comprehensive restructuring of the parliamentary body, with portfolios and responsibilities assigned to members according to their expertise and areas of specialization. This, he said, would ensure the best possible use of MPs’ capabilities and strengthen coordination and teamwork.
Abou El-Enein emphasized that citizens would remain at the forefront of the parliamentary body’s priorities, and that legislative and oversight efforts would focus on issues directly related to citizens’ needs and aspirations. These include, in particular, economic, social, and public service issues, as well as supporting investment, creating job opportunities, and improving living standards.
The head of the parliamentary body explained that the National Front Party aims to establish a strong and effective parliamentary model based on institutional discipline, collective action, and continuous coordination among its members. He underscored the importance of developing a clear action plan and setting achievable legislative and oversight priorities that would enhance parliamentary effectiveness and serve the interests of the nation and its citizens.
