On Friday, Parliament Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou El-Enein met with Clare Akamanzi, the CEO of Rwanda Development, co-organizer of the Commonwealth Business Forum on the sidelines of the Commonwealth Summit in Kigali.
She welcomed Abou El-Enein’s participation in the investment summit and his attendance at the summit and economic forum sessions. Akamanzi expressed her country’s desire to enhance cooperation with Egypt.
She stressed the importance of continuing the communication with Egypt to strengthen the economic cooperation in a manner appropriate to the extent of political relations between Cairo and Kigali
For his part, the Egyptian MP welcomed the ideas proposed by the CEO of Rwanda Development to develop economic relations and expand their size during the coming period
He praised the development he witnessed in the Rwandan infrastructure as well as the volume of foreign investments, welcoming Akamanzi’s visit again to Cairo.
