MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein: Under the Leadership of President El-Sisi, Building an Industrial State Starts at the University… 100 Training and Job Opportunities for Cairo University Students

MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, Member of the House of Representatives, affirmed that the Egyptian state, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, is moving steadily toward building a modern industrial state, stressing that this path begins at the university level through preparing generations capable of transforming knowledge into production and added value.

This came during Abou El-Enein’s speech at the opening of the Employment and Training Forum at Cairo University, in the presence of Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek, President of Cairo University; Dr. Ahmed El-Ansary, Governor of Giza; Eng. Ghada Labib, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology for Institutional Development; Dr. Ashraf El-Sheihy, former Minister of Higher Education; Dr. Mahmoud El-Saeed, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research; Dr. Ahmed Ragab, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Mohamed Refaat, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Iman Karim, General Supervisor of the National Council for Persons with Disabilities; alongside a number of senior officials, public figures, businessmen, deans, faculty members, students, and graduates.

Abou El-Enein expressed his pride in being present inside the university campus, considering Egyptian universities the true starting point for building people and shaping the future. He noted that he preferred to move away from a traditional speech and instead speak from his practical experience, explaining that Egypt’s ambitions go beyond achieving growth to building a productive economy capable of global competitiveness.

He explained that the strength of nations is no longer measured solely by the size of resources, but by the ability to utilize them and convert them into added value, stressing that the real difference lies in efficiency, management, and production capacity.

He pointed out that the labor market is no longer based on academic qualifications alone, but on the ability to apply knowledge and achieve tangible results, noting that the true value of education is reflected in its impact on the economy through higher productivity, improved quality, and stronger exports.

He added: “The question is no longer what did you study, but what did you add—and how did you transform what you learned into work and production?”

He emphasized that the state is betting on youth as the main driver of development, in a world witnessing rapid acceleration in innovation and technology, where continuous development has become essential to remain competitive.

He called on young people to keep up with global developments and continuously develop their skills, stressing that learning is a lifelong process that does not end at any stage.

He also praised the state’s direction toward developing technical education and linking it with university education, considering this integration essential for preparing qualified cadres capable of entering the labor market, especially with the expansion of modern industrial cities.

He explained that these cities are based on integrating education and training within production environments, enabling graduates to gain practical experience alongside academic knowledge.

Abou El-Enein also highlighted his experience in industry, affirming that success in global markets requires continuous performance evaluation, quality improvement, and production efficiency enhancement.

He stressed that building the “New Industrial Egypt” is a national project that requires integration of efforts between the state, universities, and the industrial sector.

At the conclusion of the event, Cairo University honored MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein in recognition of his contributions, where he announced the provision of 100 training and job opportunities for university students within “Cleopatra Group” institutions and the “Sada El-Balad” media network, supporting the linkage between education and the labor market, with opportunities for permanent employment for those who prove their competence.
