Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou El-Enein stressed the importance of the commercial mediation bill and the regulation of brokerage firms as they contribute significantly to the national economy, with values amounting to billions of pounds.
This came during a plenary session, headed by Parliament Speaker Hanafi Jabali, to review a report of the joint committee from the Economic Affairs and the Office of the Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee on a draft law to amend some provisions of the law regulating commercial agencies and brokering.
“It is necessity to organize mediation work, especially with regard to real estate marketing, which needs an integrated system,” he said. “Employees of brokerage firms abroad are trained at the highest level.”
“It is vital to make continuous training courses. It is necessary to make a follow up and a periodic evaluation for workers in this sector.”
