MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, Member of the House of Representatives, affirmed that celebrating Labor Day represents an important national occasion to take pride in the tremendous achievements accomplished by Egyptian workers on the ground over the past years, noting that these successes came with direct support from the state and under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as part of a comprehensive plan for development and production.
MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, emphasized that the Egyptian worker represents the fundamental pillar in the journey of development and the building of the New Republic, and that the massive urban and developmental achievements realized across various governorates during the era of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi were accomplished by the hands of Egyptian workers and engineers.
This came during MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein’s participation on Thursday in the annual Labor Day celebration honoring 300 workers from various companies and entities affiliated with Giza Governorate, held at Sayed Darwish Hall Theater, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed El-Ansary, Governor of Giza, along with a number of executive, legislative, and labor leaders.
Abou El-Enein stated that the experience witnessed in the New Administrative Capital has become the subject of global admiration and discussion, as Egyptians have proven their ability in innovation, construction, and development in record time, extending their long history in civilization and architecture.
Abou El-Enein praised the achievements of the political leadership, represented by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, affirming that the signs of development have become evident throughout the Egyptian Republic, and that Egyptian workers were the key element in implementing these projects.
He also praised the state of security and stability enjoyed by Egypt under the umbrella of the Armed Forces and the Egyptian police, stressing that the President’s decisions regarding red lines contributed to achieving security and safety for the Egyptian state.
Drawing on more than 40 years of experience, Abou El-Enein stressed that the current phase requires a focus on production and serious work, emphasizing that productivity and skilled labor are the main pillars for achieving Egypt’s goal of becoming one of the world’s top 30 economies.
He stressed the importance of keeping pace with technological development and relying on artificial intelligence and modern technology in the labor market, saying: “The coming phase requires a new approach based on building minds and equipping youth with knowledge, thought, and continuous training.”
Abou El-Enein continued: “The Egyptian worker enjoys great appreciation both inside and outside Egypt, and the real investment lies in the Egyptian individual and his ability to innovate, work, and produce.”
Industrialist and MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein was warmly welcomed with chants and applause from honored Egyptian workers and their families during the celebration. The Governor of Giza, accompanied by MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, also honored 300 distinguished workers who topped the “Honor Board” in Giza Governorate for 2026, in addition to honoring a number of labor leaders and symbols in appreciation of their contributions and service to labor and national causes.
This took place during the major celebration organized by the Giza Workers’ Union on Thursday on the stage of Sayed Darwish Theater on the occasion of Labor Day, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed El-Ansary, MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, representatives of the Ministry of Labor, Al-Azhar, and the Church, along with a number of public figures.
