Abou El-Enein During His Participation in the Multinational Corporations Summit in China: Egypt is the Future of Investment and the Gateway to Africa, and We Open Our Arms to Investment to Build the New Republic

MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, participated in the opening of the Multinational Corporations Summit in China and delivered a speech on behalf of the continent of Africa and the Middle East region.

Abou El-Enein affirmed that Egypt opens its arms to investment in order to build the New Republic, during his speech at the opening session of the Multinational Corporations Summit in China.

At the beginning of his speech, Abou El-Enein said: “It gives me great pleasure and honor to be with you on behalf of all Egyptian industrialists and on behalf of the African continent and the Middle East. I am pleased to participate in this high-level summit, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the organizing body, the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China.”

Abou El-Enein added: “How great it is that we meet today as the sons of the two ancient civilizations — the great Egyptian civilization and the Chinese civilization that represents a flowing river through history. In Egypt, we take pride in our ancient heritage and achievements in architecture and engineering throughout history.”
He added: “How wonderful it is for the Egyptian and Chinese civilizations to come together to enhance cooperation between the two countries.”

He continued, saying: “We open our arms to investment to build the New Republic under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi,” pointing out that President El-Sisi has set forth his vision based on Egypt’s strategic geographical location, and that this vision can be effectively utilized.

Abou El-Enein stressed that Egypt is a global platform for investment and export to a huge market of two billion people.

MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, said: “I am fully prepared to cooperate with any Chinese investor,” affirming that Egypt enjoys a geographical location that allows products to be exported to all African countries, in addition to the incentives provided by the Egyptian state.

The Deputy Speaker continued: “I own five farms producing wheat, corn, fruits, and citrus that are exported to European markets,” noting that China is the largest and most important strategic partner in the region.

MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein added: “We welcome you to the industries of the future and share the forward-looking vision of major projects. The Egyptian state owns new industrial cities and investors engaged in numerous projects.”

He pointed out that the Middle East represents the future with its potential and ability to attract massive investments and provide job opportunities for youth, commenting:
“Modern technologies are imposing themselves across various sectors amid global competition.”

MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, added that Egypt offers incentives to investors and global companies, explaining that the youth economy is essential, along with preparing young people for digital transformation.

He also added that China is implementing major projects in the African continent and in Egypt, explaining that Egyptian-Chinese relations are strong and positive.

He stated:
“There is a Chinese university, and there are very large projects in infrastructure and supply chain systems. China carefully studies projects to implement them on the ground, as it represents an ancient civilization intertwined with the ancient Egyptian civilization.”

Abou El-Enein pointed out that Egypt is the most important partner for China, as it opens the door for Chinese investors to expand their activities and localize industries in Egypt, adding:
“We have engineering industries and industries related to electric vehicles.”

The Deputy Speaker continued: “The political leadership focuses on investment projects while offering advantages to investors and global companies.”

The media personality Ahmed Moussa praised Egypt’s participation in the opening of the Multinational Corporations Summit in China, saying on his program “Ala Mas’ouliaty” on Sada El-Balad TV channel:
“The largest 125 companies in the world attended the Multinational Corporations Summit held in China.”

Moussa referred to the major and extensive participation in the summit, adding that there was distinguished and high-level attendance, and the summit witnessed a massive opening ceremony with the presence of major companies and senior politicians.

He explained that Abou El-Enein was chosen to deliver a speech on behalf of Africa and the Middle East, in which he spoke about the Egyptian civilization, the major Egyptian-Chinese strategic partnership, and promoted investment in Egypt in an outstanding way. He stressed that this reflects the Egyptian state’s appreciation of this partnership and the strength of its relations with China.

Moussa mentioned that 425 companies from around the world participated in the summit, including the largest companies globally, as well as major companies from Japan, noting that 43 countries from different continents were represented in the summit.

He added that Egypt participated for the first time among nine countries taking part in the summit for the first time, noting that there was record participation from companies at the summit.
