As part of its ongoing community role, the Abou El-Enein Foundation for Cultural and Social Work celebrated Eid Al-Fitr by distributing Eid kahk in mosques, streets, and public squares, under the umbrella of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, within the Foundation’s plan to bring joy to our people during the days of Eid.
The Foundation affirmed that the distribution of Eid kahk comes as a continuation of a series of activities carried out throughout the holy month of Ramadan, including organizing daily iftar tables, distributing hundreds of thousands of hot meals, food packages, and suhoor meals, in addition to mobile convoys that toured streets and train and metro stations to provide iftar for fasting people and travelers.
The Abou El-Enein Foundation, chaired by MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein and under the guidance of Somaya Abou El-Enein, is keen to continue its food and social support programs throughout the year, believing that charitable work is an ongoing responsibility not limited to a single season, and that bringing happiness to simple families during Eid is just as important as meeting their basic needs.
A large number of volunteers also took part in the distribution process, in a scene reflecting the spirit of solidarity and cooperation that characterizes the volunteers of the Abou El-Enein Foundation.
