MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and member of the Board of Trustees of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, affirmed during a phone interview with Extra News Channel that Egypt bears its historical responsibility toward the Palestinian cause and strongly confronts the schemes aimed at displacing the Palestinian people from their land. He added that the Egyptian people have an inherent sense of responsibility toward any Arab nation, stressing that Egypt has been fulfilling its duty since the first day of the Gaza events.
He explained that the National Alliance for Civil Development Work has implemented numerous programs and continued sending aid to the Gaza Strip despite Israel’s complete closure of the Rafah crossing from the Palestinian side, pointing out that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi always reiterates that “Egypt has never closed the crossings at any time.”
🔹 Major campaigns target Egypt’s role
MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein said that there are organized campaigns targeting Egypt’s role and strength, asserting that Egypt is the real backbone of the Palestinian cause. He emphasized that Egypt’s steadfastness has alarmed the world because it blocks any attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause or displace the Palestinian people.
🔹 Israel seeks to displace Palestinians to Sinai
Abou El-Enein revealed that there are old Israeli schemes aiming to displace Palestinians to Sinai, noting that this idea has been proposed more than once since the era of former President Hosni Mubarak. However, he stressed that Sinai is a red line that no one can approach.
He said: “No one can come near Sinai, and we stand firmly behind President El-Sisi, supporting him with all our strength.”
🔹 President El-Sisi never hesitates to uphold justice
MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein praised President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s firm and principled positions, affirming that he knows only what is right and never hesitates to make the correct decision. He stressed that Egypt’s security institutions, the General Intelligence Service, and the Armed Forces are performing a great national role worthy of pride.
🔹 Egypt faces a systematic war of rumors
Abou El-Enein stressed that Egypt is facing a dangerous war of rumors targeting the awareness and stability of the Egyptian people, pointing out that every word President El-Sisi says resonates strongly abroad.
He added that the Egyptian people stand firmly behind their political leadership with full awareness, affirming that the war against Egypt is a war of lies and rumors aimed at fragmenting states and weakening them from within.
He continued that Egypt continues to intensify its efforts to support the Palestinian cause and deliver humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza, despite all the smear campaigns directed against it.

MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein described what is happening in Gaza as an international crime and a disgrace before the world, pointing out that the scene of humanitarian aid entering through the Rafah crossing reflects the authenticity of the Egyptian people and their deep sense of responsibility toward their Palestinian brothers.
He said that Egypt has never hesitated to perform its historical role toward the Palestinian cause despite the fierce smear campaigns it faces, stressing that these campaigns are proof of Egypt’s success and resilience and a failed attempt to undermine its national role.

The Deputy Speaker affirmed that Egypt has protected the Palestinian cause from collapse and is the country that has borne the greatest consequences of the occupation.
He said that the Palestinian people are living through genocide and real suffering, calling for an immediate halt to the bombardment and the opening of the crossings.
He added that the campaigns targeting Egypt will not affect its firm position, pointing out that Israel’s closure of the Rafah crossing from the Palestinian side is the real reason behind the obstruction of aid entry.

MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein concluded his interview by emphasizing that the awareness of the Egyptian people of the plots being orchestrated against the state is the real weapon in confronting rumors. He stressed that President El-Sisi strongly confronts lies and responds to smear campaigns with facts and achievements.
He added that Egypt will remain the true supporter of the Palestinian cause and that its steadfastness is the strongest message in the face of all attempts of distortion and blackmail.
