Abou El-Enein Foundation Distributes Over 300,000 Boxes of “Moulid Sweets” Across All Governorates

The Abou El-Enein Foundation for Social and Cultural Development has announced the distribution of more than 300,000 boxes of traditional Moulid sweets this year to families across Egypt’s governorates, in celebration of the Prophet’s Birthday (Moulid El-Nabi). The initiative comes under the umbrella of the National Alliance for Civil and Development Work, continuing a longstanding tradition spanning over 40 years.

The Foundation emphasized that this initiative reflects its enduring mission to support low-income families and bring joy to Egyptians during religious and social occasions. It also reaffirmed that the Foundation is self-funded and does not accept donations.

Hundreds of young volunteers participated in the distribution process — the true backbone of the Foundation’s activities — ensuring the smooth organization of deliveries and the fair distribution of gifts to eligible families in an atmosphere of solidarity and compassion.

The Foundation is chaired by MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, with Mrs. Somaya Abou El-Enein serving as Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors. Together, they lead sustained efforts to serve the community through comprehensive development and charitable initiatives, embodying the values of cooperation, volunteerism, and humanitarian work.
