Journalist Mostafa Bakry revealed, during his program “Facts and Secrets” on Sada El-Balad TV, details of a letter of gratitude and appreciation sent to MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, from the families and tribes of the Gaza Strip, in recognition of his unwavering efforts in supporting the Palestinian cause.
According to Bakry, the letter stated:
“Today, we extend to you a message that is not a formal or routine one, but a popular message from the heart of wounded Gaza — a message rising from beneath the rubble and ruins, carrying the cries of mothers, the tears of children, and the steadfastness of men. It sincerely reflects the conscience of our families and clans, conveyed through the Higher Commission for Tribal Affairs, and bears the highest meanings of gratitude and appreciation for your noble and honorable positions, which will remain engraved in the memory of our people and in the living conscience of our nation.”
The message continued:
“From the bleeding heart of Gaza, from among the debris and devastation, from the tears of mothers and the cries of children, and from the endurance of men, we send you greetings worthy of your stature. Our people know that great positions are not measured by eloquent speeches, but by their sincere impact on people’s lives and on the ground.”
It further affirmed:
“You have always been — and remain — the voice of Palestinian truth in international forums, never fearing to speak it and defending our just cause with unshakable faith. Your words and steadfast positions have never been mere political statements, but a living embodiment of the Arab conscience that has not died. Your continuous support and humanitarian contributions to our people in Gaza have proven that Palestine, to you, is not just a slogan but a sacred conviction and a deep-rooted principle — one that reflects true Arab brotherhood and affirms that Palestine will forever live in the heart of every honorable Arab. You have truly embodied the image of an Arab leader who combines political strength with humanitarian nobility.”
The message concluded:
“Honorable MP, your positions will remain a source of pride and inspiration for generations to come, a testament that Palestine has never been — and will never be — alone, as long as there are loyal men like you who write their names in the annals of history through their honorable and courageous stances. We, in the Higher Commission for Tribal Affairs in the Gaza Strip, on behalf of all the families and clans of Gaza, pledge to keep these positions alive in our people’s conscience, and to let their light guide the coming generations — for truth never dies as long as there are men who defend it.
In conclusion, we extend to you our sincere thanks and appreciation, praying that God grants you success and strength in serving the causes of our Arab nation, and that your stances continue to be a pillar of support for the Palestinian people until they achieve freedom and independence.”
