Abouelenein hosts Members of European Parliament

Head of European-Egyptian Business Council، Mohammed Abouelenein hosted members of the European Parliament Thursday evening .

Richard Henry Czarnecki, Vice-President of the European Parliament, assured that he is one of the founders of the Egyptian-European Friendship Group in the European Parliament, pointing out that the EU is paying attention to the stability of Egypt.

 

He added that the stability of Egypt and the Middle East is a common goal between the EU countries and Egypt, assuring that the cooperation between the Union and Egypt in the economic and political aspects in the coming period, is very important for both sides.

 

He also noted that he intends to visit Egypt again as he considers the Egyptians his friends.

 

Moreover, He pointed out that Egypt’s stability will have a positive effect on the region, he also thanked Abouelenein for hosting him and for the role played by the prominent businessman in explaining what is happening in Egypt and its positive development.
Peter van Dalen، a member of the European Parliament of the Conservatives and Reformists group، expressed his deep knowledge and incredible passion for Egypt، pointing out he had already visited Egypt 7 times.

During a dinner hosted by prominent businessman Mohammed Abouelenein، van Dalen said he has two reasons for his deep love for Egypt، firstly، he has many friends here، secondly، he loves Egyptian people.

“They are generous، kind، hospitable and open-minded،” van Dalen said، adding، “These matters represent the real power lies within Egypt، as well as the Egyptian food that I love most.”

“Every time I return to my country my wife asks me ‘how much kilos have you gained?! And this time I will tell her that I have gained some”

The MEP said that he had visited Egypt after the revolution when Egypt was recovering from the “darkness، extremism، and sorrow.”

“What I’m seeing now is the country trying to recover with an open society and open dialogue، it really pleases me to return Egypt for the seventh time and witness these developments.

He called President Sisi as “a man with an open mind،” ven Daren said that president Sisi wants to share their mutual values، foremost the friendship values، that’s why he hopes to come back and visit Egypt for the eighth time.

Former Parliamentary speaker Dr Ahmad Fathi Serour، Giza governor Kamal Al-Daly Archaeologist and former antiquities minister Zahy Hawass، Vice chairman of Cleopatra Group Tarek Abouelenein، and Managing director of Privately-owned TV channel Sada ElBalad Elham Abul Fath have attended this event.
