Major General Rafiq Rafat Arafat, commander of the Third Field Army, Major General Abdel Meguid Sakr, Suez Governor, and businessman Mohamed Abou El Enein, Honorary President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean and President of the Egyptian-European Business Council discussed the executive steps of the future housing project in the governorate.

In the first phase, 15 buildings will be built with the support of the Third Field Army, with a target to reach 10,000 housing units in the final stages.

The problem of housing in the governorate of Suez extends since 2001, and the project aims to solve it by providing decent housing for all young people to meet the standards of “quality of life”, eliminate population overcrowding and achieve justice in the distribution of services. The residential areas and buildings do not exceed a quarter of the total area of the project and green areas should not be less than half the area of the project.
