Abou El-Enein addresses the third investment forum: Egyptian national Projects constitute opportunity for economic integration among 3 continents

Prominent businessman Mohamed Abou El-Enein, the chairman of the Egyptian-European Business Council, participates in the third investment forum, under the auspices of President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, in the presence of more than 1000 participants representing 51 countries.

Abou El-Enein said that the Arab, African and Mediterranean countries have strong potentials and agreements, making them one of the most viable regions for economic integration.

Abou El-Enein made it clear “We have all the potentials and resources that could make our countries a region for the economic integration, Our Arab and African region has great manpower resources, and rich environment,” .

He added that the large investment opportunities offered by these projects achieve great regional integration.

Abou El-Enein pointed out to possibility of setting up a package of investment projects in the Suez Canal Zone as being a bridge between the three continents that depend on resources and materials from Africa, technology from Europe and financial resources from the Arab region.

He stressed that all Egyptian national projects take into account the national dimension and benefitting all brotherly Arab, African and European countries.

He added that these national projects include the reclamation and cultivation of 1.5 million feddans, developing the northern coast, which is not far from Europe, the development of Upper Egypt and the Golden Triangle area on the Red Sea and the New Administrative Capital.

Abou El-Enein called on all participants to consider the establishment of joint ventures that achieve common interests, promote integration of resources, achieve competitiveness, support industries and provide more job openings for young people.

Moreover, Abou El-Enein focused on the importance of the government’s procedures in the economic reform program, the establishment of economic cities of a special nature to confront bureaucracy, implementing the idea of one-stop system and the promising investment opportunities in all sectors.

The forum is organized by the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, the Union of Arab Chambers and the “Economy and Business” Group. The conference is attended by a number of ministers, officials and public figures.

The forum aims at discussing different stages of the investment climate development and reform, while shedding light on large scale development projects, job opportunities they entail, and how well the local private sector and foreign investments have responded to the government’s efforts till present and the prospects of Arab and foreign investment in Egypt.
