Abou El-Enein: Sisi Has Excelled in Dealing with Global Crisis

Egypt’s Parliament Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou El-Enein said, on Tuesday, that the whole world is facing a ‘complex crisis’, as a result of inflation, against the backdrop of the Russia-Ukraine war, repercussions of Coronavirus, in addition to climate change, and global energy crises.

This came during the Parliament’s plenary session to discuss the manpower committee’s report on a draft law submitted by the government to expedite the due date for periodic bonuses, grant a special allowance to those not addressed by the Civil Service Law (CSL), and increase the additional incentive for state workers.

In his word, Abou El-Enein added that this crisis seriously affects the financial policies of any country, stressing that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has excelled in dealing with the major global crisis.

Parliament Deputy speaker also noted that Egypt is currently facing an ‘imported inflation’ that affects it internally, pointing out that the government’s decision to increase salaries and pensions helps to reduce the burdens.

Moreover, Abou El-Enein stressed that the real challenge for any country nowadays is not to feel the presence of any shortage, whether in goods or services, noting that some countries are suffering greatly, due to the lack of goods.

In addition, the lawmaker underlined the necessity of creating new policies to increase investments away from global competition.
