Abou El Enein Asserts Need to Reconsider Labor Laws

Undersecretary of House of Representatives MP Mohamed Abou El Enein stressed on Monday the importance of reconsidering the labor laws in light of the coronavirus repercussions like the remote work.

Delivering a speech during the House’s plenary session today in the presence of Manpower Minister Mohamed Safaan, MP Abou El Enein pointed out that people who are distantly working should have their specific rights, asking whether their rights differ from people who are working from the office or not.

Abou El Enein called for consolidating the principle of competitiveness and honoring outstanding workers.

During his speech, the MP greeted the policemen on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of their national day, saying: “We are all proud of their historic achievements.”

He also mourned the death of veteran Islamic scholar Abla Al Kahlawi who passed away on Sunday, saying she was a symbol for the Egyptian woman.
