Egyptian-European Business Council Chairman Mohammed Abou El-Enein and TV satellite channels and news website of Sada El-Balad expressed their appreciations for pivotal role played by the Law Enforcement Forces in confronting terrorism in Sinai.
Abou El-Enein also expressed all the Egyptians’ pride of the highest rates of readiness during the ongoing comprehensive operation of Sinai 2018, which considered the largest military operation since the 1973 war.
He added that Egypt enters into a new battle against the evil forces through launching “Sinai 2018 comprehensive operation” with a view to eliminating terrorism.
In a statement issued today Saturday, Abou El-Enein said “We affirm our confidence in the armed forces and the police’s abilities to root out terrorism from Egypt, in accordance with the directions of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
The Egyptian army announced earlier this morning the imminent launch of a wide-ranging operation aimed at targeting terrorist elements in the Sinai Peninsula, according to army spokesman Colonel Tamer al-Rifai.
Earlier on February 6, the critical care department of the Ismailia Health Directorate issued an announcement to major hospitals in the governorate to stay on standby starting February 6 until further notice.
