Abou El-Enein Praises Sisi’s Visit to Cairo’s Slum Area of Ezbet Al-Haggana

On Monday, Parliament Deputy Speaker Mohammed Abou El-Enein congratulated Planning Minister Dr. Hala al Saeed for winning the Best Arab Minister award.

Commenting on Planning Minister’s statement before parliament’s plenary session, Abou El-Enein said that spatial justice represents a great burden after the changes following Coronavirus crisis.

Parliament’s Deputy speaker added that the world’s debts are “terrifying”, pointing out that these changes push the world towards localizing value-added policy.

On the other hand, Parliament deputy speaker praised Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s civilized position that touched the heart and mind of every Egyptian after he made an inspection tour in Cairo’s slum area of Ezbet Al-Haggana with a number of ministers, to follow up its development plan.

Abou El-Enein stressed that the slums represent ‘a threat to national security and progress’.

“For the first time, an Egyptian President visits a slum area and draws up a plan to eliminate this crisis,” the MP noted.

Abou El-Enein pointed out that Sisi is addressing the world in a new language, hailing the president’s initiatives to eliminate slums.

Moreover, the lawmaker also valued President El-Sisi’s initiative to develop the countryside and villages, noting that 55 million Egyptian citizens would benefit from it. “Sisi leads development in Egypt,” he added.
