Abou El-Enein, attend talks on first Arab dispute settlement body

The Honorary President of Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), Prominent Businessman, Mohamed Abou El-Enein expressed his appreciations towards the efforts exerted by Lawyers’ syndicate head, Sameh Ashour, to prepare for the establishment of the Arab dispute settlement body over the past nine years.

In press statements on the sidelines of the consultation meeting held in Arab league to address establishing the Arab dispute settlement body, Abou El-Enein added that Ashour is a respected idol who has credibility.

He also stressed that Ashour is the best to chair Arab Dispute Settlement body.

The establishment of this body is a good idea to reassure investors through the court’s implementation of its decisions and its credibility, Abou El-Enein noted.

He added that the next challenge is a procedural one, as the statute of the court, the body union composition and the court are to be established, and linked to each other.

Moreover, about 22 countries have to be invited to join the body through representative including; Ministers, economists, businessmen, chambers of commerce presidents, and anyone who has experience in the investigation field.

Noteworthy, Mohamed Abou El-Enein, in addition to a number of experts and state officials, including Parliament Speaker Ali Abdul Aal and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr participated yesterday, Wednesday in the consultation meeting to address establishing the Arab dispute settlement body.

Set to be based in Cairo, the body will be the first institution specialized in settling disputes and investments in the Arab World.
